Edinburgh does not need any more student accommodation.

Edinburgh residents are getting organised to call on the City of Edinburgh Council "Bin Student Accommodation".

We can no longer watch our communities and students suffer whilst massive developers and universities rake in millions every year and give nothing back. 

Residents are being priced out of their homes, thousands of us are waiting on social housing housing, and there is an ever increasing pressure on local services like GPs.

Purpose built student accomodation also charge students incredibly high rents, way above market rate, for low quality housing and less secure tenant rights.

We are saying that Edinburgh Council needs to put down their foot and say no to these developments, with the plan to build affordable and social housing instead.
