The state of the playground is shocking, and it's shameful that there has been no communication with parents or schools about any plans to reopen or fix up the park - children need a place to play, and parents need a place to socialise.
We went to councillor surgeries where they say they hear constituents concerns, but they didn't show up or turned us away. Now, Living Rent Springburn members are taking action about the serious neglect of Broomfield Playpark, demanding it gets reopened and upgraded for the summer holidays.
Come along and demand better from local councillors!
