Govanhill: Bring our buses back public meeting

Better buses for Glasgow - let’s get some answers

Are you sick of spending £2.50 on a single ticket? Waiting hours for a bus that doesn’t even turn up? Wishing there was a cheap, reliable bus service to get you home at night?

Living Rent members are campaigning for Glasgow City Council to use money from the new tourist tax to invest in a publicly owned bus service for Glasgow, starting with our night buses. Everyone knows the system is broken, yet our elected officials don’t seem to care. Time and time again, they pass the buck, blow us off, or say it’s not an important issue.

Come and tell your councillors how important this issue is. We're inviting them to a public meeting to hear your concerns and answer your questions on how to improve Glasgow's buses.

Between 12 and 2 on Saturday 25 April, come join us where Dixon Avenue meets Victoria Rd to share your bus horror stories, play some games, and tell your councillors how important this problem is! It’s time to get some answers.

This meeting is open to everyone so come along, and bring a friend or neighbour.
