Glasgow City Council: Invest in our city!

Living Rent branches from across Glasgow are coming together to demand that Glasgow City Council use the £15 million a year they will be getting from their new tourist tax to invest in the housing and public services people in our city need.

Join your fellow residents at our campaign strategy day to develop a plan of action. Together we can ensure the council prioritise the people that live here over the billion-pound tourism industry.

What is a strategy day?
We create a plan to ensure our campaign is a success.  We then plan our campaign tactics, which is everything we will do in the campaign over the coming months. We will also share why this issue is important to us and come up with campaign slogans. 

Who can come?
Everyone and anyone in in the community who cares about the issues is invited to attend the campaign strategy day.

For lunch, please bring your own packed lunch. There are also nearby cafes. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
