With government in Westminster and Holyrood failing to deliver, and mainstream political parties tumbling in the polls, far right and out-and-out fascist parties are moving to capitalise and build their support in working class areas. And the horrendous Islamophobic knife attacks in Edinburgh two weeks ago demonstrate the danger of their narratives ideas going unchallenged Come to this workshop to build your confidence in challenging far right and fascist talking points when you hear them in your community or workplace.

This workshop is for Living Rent members (or people who are interested in joining) and is focused on: 

- Understanding the main narratives that the far right and fascists are pushing in our communities 
- Learning how to recognise these narratives when they are echoed by people in our communities
- Building your confidence in breaking down and constructively challenging these narratives 
- Preparing you to build your union branch into one that keeps the far right and fascists out of your area
