Do you live in Dundee and are you passionate about your community? Are you worried about the slew of cuts to services and social housing by the council, having trouble with your housing, agency or landlord, or just someone who believes in equality in housing? We at Living Rent would love to meet you!
While the branch became official in June 2025, Living Rent members have been active in Dundee for several years, establishing ourselves as a group willing to hold letting companies like DJ Alexander and Rockford to account, securing our members compensation and necessary repairs carried out.
In January 2025 we started campaigning to get Dundee City Council to recognise the desperate situation for renters in Dundee and support rent controls in the Scottish Parliament. As of summer 2025, we have successfully managed to get several councillors to commit their support including council leader Mark Flynn.
Our branch meetings are currently held on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm to 7:30pm in the conference room at Dundee Central library.
