Action on empty council homes was chosen as Lochend Branch's first campaign!

There is a housing shortage in Edinburgh. With waiting lists for council homes years long, people homeless and stuck in temporary accommodation long term, and families forced to rent extortionate private rented flats or move away, it is a scandal that almost 1000 council flats are laying empty. 

Members have chosen to force the council to take action and rent out these flats as permanent, quality homes in our communities. 

In this session we will be making a plan to win. We will cover:

• Direct Action & Tactics training
