As the rent cap and eviction ban come to an end on 31 March, tenants across the country will be hit by a wave of evictions as landlords attempt to evict tenants so they can hike up the rent. 

In our member defense meetings, Living Rent members are working tirelessly to stop evictions. By training up and being ready to resist evictions in person, we will ensure that no tenants are unfairly evicted after the eviction ban ends.

When evictions are set to go ahead, we need well-organised community support, on the ground and at the door, to make the Sheriff Officers turn around.
