Member Defence x National Campaign - How we win a New Deal for Tenants

SPECIAL NATIONAL CAMPAIGNS SESSION: MEMBER DEFENCE X NATIONAL CAMPAIGN.

For this session we are taking a break from our normal sessions, to prep on how our member defence issues and wins can be used to help us win our national campaign.

ALL members welcome, but especially those who have recently had issues.

If we have experienced a problem, so has someone else, we will look at how we can fight for structural policy changes across summer as part of our New Deal for Tenants Campaign, so we can create lasting change for people across Scotland. Come along, its up to us to make it happen!

HAVE AN ISSUE?

Member defence is how we can real win changes in our homes and blocks. Its where members come together to win repairs, stop rent increases, stop evictions and improve our immediate conditions by taking action together. All are welcome, no experience necessary.
At each meeting we cover: national and local updates; training on member defence; and work on our members issues. If you would like something to be added to the agenda contact before hand.

If you have an issue that needs addressed email [email protected] or come along to the session on Wednesday 24th 6.30pm at The Wee Hub, Ocean Terminal  see livingrent.org/events

Living Rent is Scotland's Tenants Union, rooted in the community, working to put power back in the hands of ordinary people. Member defence is run by and for members, if you want to fight for safe, afforable, secure housing for yourself and neighbours, Join here: livingrent.org/join.

If you want to take on your issue you must join as a member, come along to find out what that means!
