On March 1st GHA announced that they would impose an inflation busting rent increase of 1.7% on tenants across the city.

This decision was taken on the basis of a measly 743 (across all 40,000 homes the landlord owns!) tenants supporting an increase on their sham rent consultation. And comes just as the boss of Wheatley Group (the company which owns GHA) Martin Armstrong put his own salary up to a whopping £296,000.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. On March 25th Living Rent members and GHA tenants across the city will take ACTION against the rent hike. This will happen in both their local areas and in the city centre. And if you are GHA tenant who is angry at this unjustified rent increase, they want YOU to be involved to!
