In recent years, Glasgow has seen intense storms and high winds, leading to damage to homes and streets. Even beyond the usual rainy west coast weather, there have been more intense periods of rain, leading to flash floods and surface water issues. 15% of homes in our city risk flooding by 2100.
Living Rent Glasgow wants to see how more extreme weather is impacting people across the city, especially social and private tenants. We are looking to form a small group of people to explore how we want decision makers to improve our city's response to flooding and other extreme weather events.
