Come and learn how to film videos and create a voxpop with other members in Glasgow.
At the end of the month, the Scottish government are getting rid of the emergency protections that ensure that rent increases are kept to at least 12%. From 1 April, landlords will be able to increase rent as much as they like, and the government will use 'open-market rent' to determine if it is affordable or not.
We are going to be interviewing tenants and members of the public around Glasgow to see if they think that that is fair and ask them what they think the Scottish government should do.
No prior experience required. We will talk through how to interview, how to film and talk through our questions and our structure. Then we will spend an hour and a half interviewing people.
Meeting at Partick subway station at 11.
