This is the first meeting of the year and it will be an introduction to Livng Rent for new members and those looking to get involved. We will also be recapping and deciding next steps for our Tourist Tax for Council Flats campaign.
These monthly meetings are a great opportunity to get involved, meet fellow members and get active. If you feel nervous/unsure get in touch with Barry beforehand or bring a friend/ neighbour along with you.

Venue Location and directions: The venue is St Brides centre at 10 Orwell Terrace, off Dalry Road. If you arrive around 6pm and the door is still locked this means we are waiting for the janitor to arrive. There is wifi access.
Buses/Tram/ Bikes: All these buses stop close by: 1, 2, 3, 4, 12, 22, 25, 26, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35 and 44. Tram and train stop is at Haymarket next to the rail station. You can then walk 600 metres to St Bride’s by walking down Dalry Road and turning onto Orwell Terrace. There are bike locks outside.
Parking: Parking is not possible in the area around St Bride’s, as we are situated in a permit zone. The 24 hour, 825 capacity Fountain Park Car Park has covered parking, accessible from both Dundee Street and the Western Approach Road. It is a short walk (300m) away through the Telfer Subway which leads to Orwell Terrace.
Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible, as is the room, however sometimes the room we use is moved so please contact us ahead of time so we can let the venue know.
If you have other access needs such as a translation, unseen disabilities or want to let someone what to do in a health crisis contact Barry or the email provided.
*If you have allergens, please let us know and also take responsibilty to ask what is in homemade goods and check labels.
Children: Children are welcome to attend all meetings but they must be kept under supervision of parent for safeguarding reasons. If you require childcare please contact and we can speak about if we are able to provide PVG certified members to do childcare at the meeting.
Time, dates and regularity: Meetings are monthly at 6.30 - 8pm, with tea and biscuits from 6 - 6.30pm on Thursday on the 1st full week of each month.
