Newington/Meadows group is having a day of training on Saturday 8th October, 10am - 5pm (with 1hr lunch and comfort breaks) Please arrive 5 mins before so we can start on time 

Join us to discuss the vision of Living Rent in general and specifically for our local area, and learn about the history, organising model and campaign strategies of your tenants’ union. We will also have a chance to peak into the world of member defence strategies, and finally elect our very first Newington/Meadows branch committee!

Join us to be a part of this exciting democratic process, learn more about current campaigns and work on and how you can get active in building a local branch.

Accessibility and childcare: The venue is wheelchair accessible but from the back entrance, make sure to call Sinead on 07593128079 if you have questions about this. If you need childcare get in touch about this too. 
Food/breaks: biscuits and coffee will be provided, but you will need to bring your own lunch. Lunch will be 1hr long. 
Social time after: We will go to a local pub for 1hr afterwards to get to know each other better, all are welcome, drinking is your choice.
