Ardconnel Terrace Saved: The appeal to convert 10 properties into short-term lets was officially rejected! Had this proposal gone through, it would have turned 40% of the street into short-term holiday rentals. Standing together made all the difference.

Homes Not Holiday Lets Victory: Following our campaign demanding short-term let control zones, Highland Council voted on August 17th to move forward with Control Areas across Inverness City, Inverness-shire, and the broader Highland Rural areas (joining Badenoch and Strathspey). This is a massive step forward in protecting long-term homes for our local community.
But the work doesn't stop there, at the party we'll also be planning how we can keep the pressure on to make sure the council doesn't let the proposed short-term let control areas get caught up by delays.
