Public parks and green spaces are crucial for communities, and we have the right to a park that is safe and accessible for all, all year round. Whole stretches of pathway in Leith Links are completely unlit, and we need action now!
Public parks and green spaces are crucial for communities, and we have the right to a park that is safe and accessible for all, all year round. Whole stretches of pathway in Leith Links are completely unlit, and we need action now!
We want to make our councillors aware of these problems and get them to commit to making the park safer for the local community, we are holding are holding a public meeting and are lighting up Leith Links with lanterns and pumpkins on Sunday 30th at 4.30pm.

ON THE DAY..
We'll be getting dressed up in scary, making lanterns, having tasty snacks, and generally having lots of spooky fun as we try to Light Up the Links!

5.15 - PUBLIC MEETING AND PRESENTING OUR PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
5.30 - LIGHT UP THE PARK
Adults and kids are welcome, as are any small lights from home or food you'd like to bring. Warm clothing and Halloween dress are encouraged, as is bringing along all your family and friends.
