Across Scotland Living Rent members were out on Saturday morning in a fantastic show of strength for the Enough is Enough campaign.
Living Rent stood alongside trade unionists, campaigners and community activists as part of a rousing day of action across the country.
The cost of living crisis is not going away, and it is only by organising across society and fighting back that we can force the government to take action. Campaigners from Power to the People, workers from the CWU, RMT, ASLEF and many others gave inspiring speeches. We won't take spiralling bills and stagnant wages lying down!
Living Rent will always show solidarity for our allies in the trade union movement, striking for better pay and working conditions, because all our causes are inter-connected. As Beatrice from Govanhill branch declared at the Glasgow rally:
"We have always supported the striking workers, because the workers are also tenants. Who will most suffer from rising rents? The workers. Enough is Enough!"
