Edinburgh does not need any more student accommodation, we need social housing. 

We can no longer watch our communities and students suffer whilst massive developers and universities rake in millions every year and give nothing back. 

Residents are being priced out of their homes, thousands of us are waiting on social housing housing.Purpose built student accomodation also charge students incredibly high rents, for low quality housing and less secure tenant rights.

Edinburgh residents are getting organised to call on the City of Edinburgh Council to stop building purpose built housing and build council housing instead.

What is a campaign Strategy Day?
Its where we create a plan to ensure success. We pick clear and winnable campaign demands and understand who in the council has the power to make them happen. We then plan our campaign tactics, which is stuff we will do: actions, videos, lobbying, outreach and more! We will also share why this issue is important to s and come up with campaign slogans. 

Who can come?
Everyone and anyone in in the community who cares about the issues is invited to attend the campaign strategy day.

Childcare and Accessibility
Children are also welcome to attend and take part on the day.
If you require childcare, travel to the venue due to accessibility or if you have any other accessibility requirements for the day, please contact Sinead.

There will be two 5 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon session. We will start sharp at 10.15am, so if you are coming late please let us know.
