Member Defence Sessions are the place where members meet and plan how to collectively resolve each others housing issues, whether that is disrepair, harassment over rent arrears or utility bills, or threats to hike rent or evict. And whether it's with a landlord (social or private), letting agent or factor.

Sorted your problems at home but want to support others to win improvements in theirs?

Come along, meet your fellow members, and make plans for standing shoulder to shoulder to take collective action to improve each others living conditions.

Across the country we've won back thousands of pounds worth of illegal fees and compensation, forced landlords to carry out repairs, held them to account when harassing tenants, and resisted evictions across the country.

When tenants come together and support each other through collective action we can take back power and fight a system that puts profit over people. This means we confront housing injustice by negotiating directly with landlords and letting agents, and use direct action to show them that we are serious about tenants’ rights.
