Demand better for Broomfield playpark!

Broomfield Playpark in Springburn/Barmulloch is a lifeline for local parents, but the Council have left it for years to decay.

With two primary schools less than 5 minutes away, Broomfield Playpark should be a key hub for children and parents to socialise, but Glasgow City Council has taken this away from them.

Broken swing sets, snapped climbing frames, unusable slides, and no routine check-ups of the park mean that kids in the area have nothing to do. Instead, they are stuck at home, left without the opportunity to play, make friends and be outside, like kids in richer areas can.

In the past couple of weeks, GCC have locked the park's gates, without giving information on why or when it will be reopened.

Sign this petition today to demand that the council reopen the playpark, and take action to do the necessary repairs.

By doing so you agree to be contacted by Living Rent.

We demand that:

Glasgow City Council reopen the park immediately.

GCC take action and do the necessary repairs of Broomfield Playpark, in communication with local parents and kids.

Regular inspections of the park are carried out, and upkeep is done.
