Come and join our rally for rent controls next to the Mary Barbour statue (outside Govan subway station) on Saturday 18 May at 10.30am.
The changeover of government's and the uncertainty this brings shows one thing - it’s only by organising together that we will win the changes we need.
Scotland is so close to a national system of rent controls but political uncertainty is putting this under threat. Rent controls’ effectiveness is hanging in the balance. We need everyone to help push them over the line.
Glasgow tenants, join us for a rally in support of rent controls next to the Mary Barbour statue to show our politicians that we need rent controls. Bring your best chants, banners, placards and all your friends. Everyone welcome!
Tenants in Edinburgh - go to the rally for rent controls in Edinburgh!
The rally will be held the day after the Scottish Parliament's consultation on the Housing Bill closes. The evidence gathered from this survey will support or undermine the legislation and so will have a powerful impact on whether or not tenants across Scotland have the security to afford their homes.
If you have not already, back our demands for rent controls.
