Campaign Strategy Meeting

Join your neighbours at Lochend Branch's strategy meeting to win fair improvements to our homes!

Homes in Lochend and Restalrig need retrofitted. We need to make sure our community has a say in how this is done.  Retrofitting a house essentially means renovating it to make it more energy efficient, warmer, and easier to heat. Things like adding insulation that should tackle damp and mould and reduce our heating bills

In these meetings, members in Lochend will plan the next month’s activities, discuss actions and debrief issues that have come up from the previous month. These meetings are a great opportunity to get involved in your local union, meet fellow members and get active. 

Come along and bring a neighbour.

At this meeting we cover: 

• Making a timeline for what we want to do in our Fair Retrofits campaign
• Planning a public meeting with the Council  
• Making a plan to grow the group! 
• A short What is Retrofitting? training . 

Accessibility: The space is wheelchair accessible but cold, so wrap up warm! Kids are welcome and are at their parent or guardian’s responsibility. If you have translation needs or other accessibility needs let us know.

Time, dates and regularity: We will be deciding this in this meeting! 

Location: Living Rent wee office. Room 4.11 (Floor 4) St Margaret's House. Enter down the steps on London Road. The lift is slow but working!
