Tenants of Touchstone Property management and New Avenue Living are uniting to fight back against their rent being hiked again, from £871 to £900, when their homes are falling apart.
Residents with disabilities have been left stuck in their homes with no lift access since a flood in January, and communications to Touchstone have gone ignored.
The company claims to offer “a guarantee of affordability and quality”. However, the reality is that these homes are not maintained to a good level of quality or accessibility, and they are becoming less and less affordable.
