Let’s use Highland’s energy to fund Highlands facilities!
Right now, the future of the Tain Royal Academy Community Complex (TRACC) is hanging in the balance. Though it was granted funding to allow it to stay open for five more years, we know how quickly those years will pass and without a permanent source of funding, our vital facilities will be demolished.
But we have the opportunity to secure funding for TRACC permanently.
The Highland Council are consulting on installing solar panels on the Blairliath common good land in Tain. This will generate income through the sale of the energy. As the solar panels will be on common land we believe the money should be put back into Tain and ringfenced to ensure that TRACC can stay open for the long term.
Join our call for the income generated from the solar panels to be spent on ensuring the future of TRACC!
By signing our petition you give Living Rent the permission to fill out the consultation on your behalf. You may get an email saying you filled in the consultation. You are also able to fill in the consultation by yourself using our template response.
Every response will ensure that we get one step closer to ensuring TRACC is a thriving community facility for generations to come.
I agree that the income generated from the solar panels on Blairliath common good land in Tain to be spent on ensuring the future of TRACC!
