After coming together in May to stop a proposed 24% rent increase, Platform tenants have been offered a significantly reduced 6.4% increase! To put this into perspective, this will keep an estimated £235k in the hands of our members , and out of the pockets of their corporate landlord.

But members are hungry for more! The offer made by Platform doesn't go far enough, only protects current tenants, and intends to increase the rent to the highest possible amount over the coming years. ScotGov excluded MMR properties from incoming rent controls, so our members are ready to defend themselves! We want:
* Negotiations to keep future rent increases low
* Lobby ScotGov to protect MMR
* Support other Mid-Market renters in Edinburgh who are facing similar high increases.
