Fountainbridge Members win full deposit return!

Members were able to WIN the full deposit return of £275 for Sia.

Sia's lodger landlord refused to return any of the deposit when Sia moved out, stating that Sia had made her electricity bills too high, and hadn't cleaned the bedroom well enough when she left. In Sia's lodger agreement, the electricity bills were included in the rent, and Sia had asked her landlord on her final day if she wanted the room cleaned more, which the landlord declined. 

It was a tough negotiation, the landlord initially offered a measly £30 return, but members stood firm until a full deposit return was agreed. We celebrated the win by sharing fortune cookies together.
