Organising and facilitating a successful meeting (Glasgow)

Been asked to chair a meeting or write an agenda and not sure how to do that? 

Come to this 1.5h training to learn together how to prepare for meetings, plan meeting content and select amongst various facilitation tools to best facilitate discussions, brainstorming and decision making, for you to feel confident in taking up chair and facilitator roles in meetings. You can have meetings that are focused, well prepared, fun and plan for action so you can grow your branches!

In this training, you will learn how to 

  • Prepare for a meeting 
  • Create goals for meetings 
  • Facilitate participants getting to know each other, brainstorming together and making decisions
  • Keep participants goal focussed and aware of time

This training will be great for current/ future chairs or secretaries of Living Rent to hone their skills, as well as to all members, rookies or not, interested in building your skills.

Come to the meeting 5 minutes early, so we can start sharp!
