Following the conclusion of their local tenant-led rent consultation, Knightswood Living Rent have invited GHA locality housing directors Peter Smith and Joe Lambie to the table, along with local politicians, heads of agency and education leaders.
GHA imposed a 1.7% rent increase this year while tenants have experienced reduced services and incomes and have been pushed into arrears. GHA should be putting TENANTS, not rent first!
Members will be presenting a report on their consultation and making key demands on:
Repairs Service
Damp and Mould
Community Safety.
Following this there will be an open, and we are inviting fellow tenants and neighbours (owner-occupiers are very welcome) to join this meeting on April 22nd at 6.30pm and speak face to face with local GHA management..
