Living Rent Govanhill is having a Ceilidh!
Doors open from 7pm.
Our band for the evening, The Thievin’ Corbies, will be playing from 8-11 (with some breaks for our performers to enjoy their evening). Then we'll have music afterwards until 1am.
Raffle tickets will be sold on the night with many fabulous prizes to win! There will be a bar in the venue if you find yourself working up a thirst – and there will be a few treats baked by Living Rent members.
Get along, have a good time, and support your local tenant and community union - what a bargain!
The funds raised from our ceilidh will go towards our current campaign demanding Glasgow City Council invest money generated from the visitor levy into making buses in Glasgow a service that works - something that the city both needs and deserves. Living Rent is Scotland’s tenants’ and community union, and we organise collectively to build the power to secure material improvements to our daily lives and put power back where it belongs: in the hands of ordinary people.
