Mould and damp in Scotland is a huge problem. The government estimates that over a quarter of a million homes have mould and damp but the real figures are likely to be far higher.
As the biggest social landlord in Scotland, Wheatley Homes has thousands of cases of mould and damp in its properties. And during the winter months, damp and mould only gets worse.
This has a huge impact on health - both physically and mentally. Living Rent are putting together a report with recommendations for Wheatley homes to improve their mould and damp policy.
