In the midst of this pandemic, landlords in private and social housing were still pressuring tenants to move out, legally and illegally. In Living Rent, we campaigned for and won Scotland’s first winter eviction ban, in place until at least the 31st of March. However, the temporary eviction ban just postpones evictions and landlords are still attempting to evict tenants illegally. This two-part training prepares members to defend each other against evictions.

In this training, you will learn about the history of resistance in Scotland and the current eviction process from an early threat to a physical eviction.
