Living Rent started in October 2014, with a few people in a room and no money in the bank. You know the story since, with hundreds of members joining Living Rent and recognising that what we do is  crucial to changing Scotland's housing landscape. With the support of our wonderful organisers, the union has now reached more than 850 members, empowered hundreds of tenants to challenge the gross housing inequalities we all face and supported renters time and again to win cases. In order to support the administration, financial framework  and general infrastructure of Living Rent, we have decided to hire a part-time operational manager. This will, we hope, strengthen the union and ensure that Living Rent will continue its fantastic growth in the years to come.
